Australian Fashion Week in Sydney
This month, we are excited to share our unforgettable experience and reflections at the Australian Fashion Week in Sydney, where we had the privilege of partnering with Neon Management. Over the past year, both Tara Sutton and Joe Orlowski had been searching for the perfect collaboration opportunity for this year's event. Together with Neon Management, we brought the runway to life with modern sleek ponytails that perfectly complemented the modern AAE Active fashion.
In May 2023, the prestigious Carriageworks burst into vibrant energy as Afterpay Australian Fashion Week (AAFW) made its much-anticipated return. This year's event showcased an extraordinary lineup of captivating runway shows, shining a spotlight on Australia's inclusive and top design talent. With a plethora of talks, special events, and networking opportunities, AAFW stands as the pinnacle event on the Australian fashion calendar, providing hair stylists, designers and models a global platform to connect with influential stockists and media from around the world.
Our collaboration with Neon Management proved to be a recipe for success. Their expertise in influencer marketing and strategic guidance provided us with an invaluable platform to showcase our talents to a global audience. Together, we had a shared vision of elevating the fashion experience, capturing the attention of fashionistas, enthusiasts, and industry professionals alike. This partnership allowed us to reach new heights and establish a strong presence in the fashion show for the third year in a row.
As hair stylists with years of experience, we were determined to create hairstyles that would perfectly complement the AAE Active fashion on the runway. The modern sleek ponytails became our signature look, adding an element of elegance and sophistication to the models' overall appearance. The synergy between the hairstyles and the fashion was nothing short of remarkable, creating a cohesive and impactful aesthetic that captivated the audience's attention.

From the initial hair conceptualisation to the final execution, our goal was to ensure that the models felt and looked absolutely gorgeous. The runway show received tremendous attention, fulfilling our main objective of establishing a strong presence for AAE Active and Neon Management.
