Introducing Gidget (They/Them): Your Hair’s new best friend

Introducing Gidget (They/Them): Your Hair’s new best friend

If you thought salon appointments were just about small talk and the same-old colour, you haven’t met Gidget. New to our team, absolutely not new to shaking things up—Gidget is the stylist you want when you’re done playing it safe.

The heart on their sleeve Backstory

Forget fairy tales. Gidget got into hair for the same reason most of us switch careers or move cities: pure hustle. Couldn’t land a retail job, caught a break in a salon, thought it’d be filler—then fell hard for the late-night creativity, the mess, and the realness of backstage fashion. Hair, makeup, creative chaos—it’s art meets adrenaline.

Gidget’s been there: lost in every stereotype, tried on every look, never feeling like it fit. Now, channeling that devoted energy straight into clients—it’s not about trends, it’s about finding something you actually want to claim as yours.

What’s Their Vibe?

Zero pretence. Slick glossy colour, strong shapes, and a bit of subversion. Editorial, but wearable. If you want to contour your colour to flatter your skin, done. If you want the basics twisted into something worth double-taking, Gidget will make it happen.

They thrive in wild environments (give them backstage any day), are obsessed with the “problem-solving” side of hair, and will never tell you “there’s only one way.” That’s the point—hair is personal, not prescriptive.

The Gidget Experience

You sit down, you talk, you get real. Whether you want to sit back and relax in silence or chat about anything between haircare to dreams. Gidget listens—not just to the words but the insecurities, the impulses, the “I want this but I’m scared.”

You leave feeling like you’ve unlocked a new cheat code, ready to see your hair as part of who you are instead of just what’s convenient.

Advice (That Actually Matters)

Been burnt before? Scared nothing will work? Gidget’s been there. Their rule: what you put in, you get out. That higher price on products—or on a stylist—means weeks training, failing, learning. That’s why the difference shows. Spend it up front and skip the panic later. Your hairdresser is worth it.

Off The Clock

Always chasing possibility, always keen to get their hands on something new.

Want hair that’s loud, soft, weird, sharp, or somewhere in between? Ready to break a cycle and try what actually feels right? Gidget’s here. Book, sit, chat. Bring the energy, leave with hair that feels like you.
